My family and I (with children ages 7 and 4 + grandparents) stayed at this condo for a week long vacation in Disneyland. We were VERY pleased with the entire condo. There were 6 of us staying there and we never felt cramped like we would in a hotel. My aunt and uncle met up with us in Disneyland, but they stayed at the Disneyland Hotel. My parents mentioned that the master bedroom in the condo was much more roomy than the Disneyland hotel room my aunt and uncle were staying in. The condo was equipped with all the utensils you would need and expect for a home. They even had a crock pot!!! It was a full size fridge, so you could stock up for meals during the week. Ted and Nancy even provided bottled water for us. My kids were absolutely thrilled about the bunk bed and loved it. The beds were very comfortable and it felt like home. It took us about 15 minutes to walk from the front door to the park entrance. We would highly recommend this condo for your vacation. My husband and I will probably never go back to hotels after being spoiled. Thank you Ted and Nancy for graciously opening up your condo.
Annette J.This place is about a 10-15 minute walk to downtown Disney, and another 5-10 minutes to the park entrance. You aren't really much farther away than if you stayed at one of the Disney-owned hotels! And for a fraction of that price you get 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, plus the full kitchen! We will never stay in a hotel again! There were only 4 of us staying here but you could comfortably sleep several more people. And having a washer and dryer while on vacation is fantastic. The condo complex is older, but this place has had some nice updating and it feels cozy and clean. The furniture is nice as well. The owners were great, and were very prompt on the occasion that we needed something! All in all we had a wonderful stay, and will absolutely stay here the next time book a trip to Disneyland!

They even followed up with a phone call when our stay was over to make sure it went ok. So much better than staying in a motel--we will definitely stay here again.

There was every kitchen gadget you could want. There is plenty of towels. We especially loved the what we called "the spa bathroom". We had enough showers while getting ready for the wedding and everything else.. There was plenty of space for the toddlers and adults to spread out. This was exactly what we needed. We will definitely be back and will recommend this home highly.

The kids loved the fun Disney theme decoration and the bunk bed in the kids room. The pool and hot tub was also a favorite from the kids. I loved that it was so close to Disneyland so we could leave our car in the condo garage and not have to pay for parking at the park. The walk was about 10-15 minutes, not a bad walk at all! I also appreciated that we were accommodated with a single stroller and a double stroller from the owners. These strollers weren't just cheap umbrella strollers either, they were sturdy and worked great for us. The kitchen was also great to have since we ate breakfast there and we were able to buy groceries and make lunches to save on eating out so much. Overall this really was a great fit for our family, we will definitely be coming back. The owners were great at keeping in contact with us before the trip to answer any and all questions and during our stay when we had questions about the garage and laundry room.

The location makes it easy to get to all that is needed. We walked to Disneyland and California Adventure. It is a bit of a jaunt but worth it to cut down on the hassle of parking. The best thing to do is have your park passes purchased and walk to Disney Downtown and catch the monorail into the park. You can also see the Disney fireworks from the condo. The owners and manager are very friendly and work with you to make your stay comfortable and workable for you. Enjoy!!

This is the second time we have stayed in this condo and it was just as I remembered. With the park opening later in the morning we were able to make a big breakfast. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking utensils you could find at home. I highly recommend this condo. During our stay, the Wi-Fi and cable went out. They had it fixed immediately. This unit is well worth the money and the 15-20 minute walk to be able to come back to a comfy home and not a hotel. Thank you so much for the home away from home.
Annette J.I stayed here with my husband and 3 kids and friends of ours with 2 kids all ages ranging from 7 to 1. Plenty of room to feel like we weren't all on top of each other. It's about a mile walk to the gates of Disney or California Adventure which we did each day of our Disney trip and it did not feel too far at all. On our first day of arrival the internet, cable and wifi were not working but Ted came right over and got it figured out right away. Thank you! For 9 people staying for 6 days we quickly went through garbage bags, paper towels and napkins but that was a minor issue. I'm sure if I called Ted about it he would have brought some more to us, but I didn't want to bother him so we worked out other ways. We did a lot of cooking in the condo but didn't account for staples such as butter or oil - you'll need to get your own of those things, which is totally understandable, we just had to make another trip to the store. Aside from that, which is really no big deal, it was absolutely perfect. We would definitely stay here again!!!
Sarah P.My wife and I came down with our 4 and 6 year old as well as my in-laws and we all loved our stay. There was plenty of room for all of us. Everything we needed was there. The kitchen was well stocked with great appliances. We made breakfast there each day and packed lunches to take into the park. We made dinner one night, which all saved from having to buy food in the parks. All three bedrooms upstairs were clean and comfortable. The huge TV's were great for my kids to watch their Disney movies after a day in the park. Each day we walked over to Downtown Disney and the parks. It is a little bit of a walk, maybe takes 5-10 minutes depending on how fast you walk. It was very close to an entrance right next to ESPN Zone. Nancy, Ted, and Randy were all so helpful. My in-laws flew in early and they were very accommodating in letting them get into the condo early. Randy was also very helpful in getting us a parking pass. There is a garage to park in, but my the storage rack on the top of my explorer, it wouldn't fit. He came right over with a visitor pass for us to use for our stay. The pool and playground are very close to the condo. The pool was VERY cold in late March, so we didn't spend as much time in it as we had hoped. Even in 80 degree weather, it was too cold. We were also close enough to hear the fireworks each night. We walked around outside and found a spot close by with a great view. There are also grocery stores close by. We made two trips to Walmart which was less than 10 minutes away. Overall, we loved our trip and stay in this condo. We will most definitely try and stay here again on our next trip.
Kimo MWe stayed here for 3 nights(wish it could have been longer) to visit Disneyland. We had 13 people in a 5 bedroom (7 adults, 4 children) and there was plenty of room for all. The place was very clean, well maintained and adorably Disney themed. Absolutely loved the crib in the master bedroom as we had a 6 month old, and the bed was pretty comfy. I'm pretty sure every room had a tv as well. There was one single stroller with storage and two high chairs which was awesome for the kids. My brother was able to use the stroller and save space in his car. The caretaker had left a note to call when we got in which I did, and he was very nice and helpful and let us know he was available if we needed anything. Overall a great experience, and I would rent from them again.

They do have stroller you can use but note it's getting a bit worn out as umbrella style does after hard use. We loved having two full bathrooms (plus a half) and a very well stocked kitchen. Do not be deceived by the exterior of the complex and condo, it's obvious these have been around awhile, but the inside is very updated and darling! The patio was lovely and felt very private. The walk to Disney was so quiet and not crowded and really only took about 20 minutes even with younger children in tow. We had plenty of linens and towels for our needs. The complex was pleasant and very chill and quiet, no issues with neighbors. We really appreciated being able to park out vehicle in the garage provided. The hosts were very accommodating to our group arriving at different times and the property being ready when we needed it. We had a lovely time swimming at the complex pool and overall it was just an amazing place to stay while visiting the Happiest Place on Earth, it made it just that much happier. Enough room for us all to comfortably spread out and have our own space. We walked to Disney but it is a 15 min walk (with my family) because it's all the way through downtown Disney. We ubered and taxi'd on the nights home after tired feet. Close enough to go back for dinner and a swim. Safe quiet neighborhood. Hats off to this place!! We will most definitely be back!

The walk to Downtown Disney was less than 10 minutes, which is very convenient when the kids are tired from walking during full day of Disney. Shopping amenities (e.g., Walmart and Target) are nearby. The three bedrooms were spacious. Grandma had her own room. Kids love the bunk bed and bedroom. I'm sure the Playstation would have been great, but our kids were too exhausted. And we could enjoy peace and quite in our own room - just like home. It was good value for the money.

We got lots of communication from our host, and the unit was just as expected in the pictures. The kids loved the Disney touches in the decor, and the supply of bedtime books. We had everything we needed for a great Disney trip. Even used the loaner stroller a couple of our longer days - awesome to pack stuff into the park and cart home exahausted littles. CatherineMagicway Villas is a wonderful property for a family Disney vacation. There is so much to like about the property . . . Location: the property is a 10 minute walk to the entrance of Downtown Disney, which is another 7-10 minute walk to the entrance of Disneyland. In total, it's about a 17-20 minute walk door to door, which is great because you don't have to worry about parking, parking fees, traffic, etc. If you prefer to drive and park, the Disney parking structure is just across the street from Magicway Villas so you will only have a short 2-3 minute drive and then a tram ride or short walk to the Disneyland entrance. There are no grocery stores or restaurants within a short walk of the property (other than the restaurants inside Downtown Disney), but if you have a car then you're just a short drive away from grocery shopping or fast food places surrounding the park. The location is definitely one the biggest selling points of this property - stay here if you want to avoid the hassle and fees of traffic and parking and you don't mind a little walk to and from the park. Space: Magicway Villas is a 3 bedroom property with one bedroom that includes an oversize bunk bed and a trundle bed. The property has 3 bathrooms, a full kitchen stocked with everything you need for cooking and cleaning, plus a living room and dining area inside. Additionally, there is a lovely outdoor patio space for dining and enjoying the California weather. Comfort: The beds were all very comfortable, linens were nice, towels were fully stocked. Everything worked well in the unit (showers, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, thermostat) and the property owners provided a manual with useful information and easy answers to questions. We certainly felt comfortable during our stay. Amenities: The unit has WIFI and TVs with Roku units, along with video game consoles. One of the bedrooms was well stocked with children's books. There was a stroller available for use and several portable fans for cooling the rooms or creating white noise for sleeping. Communication: The property owners did a terrific job communicating with us in advance of our stay and during checkout. They provided easy instructions for managing the security codes for the door and they were available by phone or text during our stay. Overall: This property is terrific, a great fit for families with children. The price was reasonable and we would definitely recommend this property to any Disney vacationers. We will certainly consider staying here for our next Disney trip.

The walk is about 10-15 minutes to Downtown Disney and another 5 minutes or so to the park gates, (though we couldn't walk that fast with a 2 and 5 year old). Property management team was extremely helpful, especially Randy. There is a stair case so families with toddlers may want to to bring a baby gate. There is also no crosswalk on S. Walnut to get across to Disney. Thankfully it's not that busy of a street. Overall a great trip made even better with a great condo and attentive management team.
Blake PWe loved staying here for our family trip to Disneyland! We were provided with lots of information prior to our trip and the condo was just as advertised. The walk to Disneyland took 12 minutes, and was quicker than taking the shuttle. The only thing that would make it even better is if the city would put in a crosswalk.:)
Kristy RGreat place to stay. Within walking distance of Disney. Home away from home with all the necessities needed. Was perfect for our family of 5 adults and two children. Plenty of space and we never felt crowded. We enjoyed cooking some meals there and hitting up some local restaurants. The kids and adults enjoyed the pool too. Owners were always very responsive to my questions.
